Asteroids Deluxe by Ken Kumar

Was just reading an old AP and remembered this top-notch arcade port, which I can't find anywhere. (It's NOT Cabaret Asteroids, which was the original arcade game rather than the sequel.) Anyone seen it?

If it was (c) 1979 then it probably WAS Cabaret Asteroids. They look very similar.

I had this game. It was in fact "Asteroids Deluxe", could run in a window on Workbench screen an I'm sure I got it from Aminet back then.

Hi Stuart,

What issue of Amiga Power was it reviewed?

Was there any additional information, like what PD library it was available from?

This looks awfully familiar. I'm not sure if it is because it is similar to the other games or whether indeed this was on a demo disk/compilation I once had - if the former then may be on magazine disk.

Issue 15 and direct from Ken it seems as the address was a PO Box in Dartmouth, Canada in the magazine.

I haven't found it but have my disks in a bit more of an order now so will keep checking.

Issue 15, July 1992. Only supplier given was Ken himself, at a PO Box address in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
