New, and am desperate to play MOONSTONE on the PC. Please help
Hello peeps. First of all. Sorry if this is off-topic.
I hope you can help me. I was playing lemmings 3D on the PC yesterday and had a flash back of the good old days of the Amiga. I would love to play Pong Classic lemmings and moonstone. I have heard that i must download an emulator and some files etc. I have absolutely no idea on what to do first and the procedure in doing this. I have done several searches on this board, but there is so much to look at. I am running windows XP. If anyone can help with the above it would be greatly appreciated. I must say that WinUAE has a strange behaviour with my audio card (Terratec EWX24/96). When I choose a different bitrate than 44.1Khz, it'll just turn off the whole sound after running the emulator. So if I somehow want to gain speed, i'll do it NOT by decreasing the sound quality, but by decreasing other quality settings. Anyway, it isn't thát annoying.. It just scared me when I first didn't have any sound after running my favorite games!

Ok peeps. I got the sound working fine
Thanks again.Now the game loads fine, and the intro music come etc. but then just while it is still loading...... i got the famous black screen with the ERROR: Press left mouse button (in red) etc etc. I then tried to play lemmings 2, and it simply did not even want to load. I then tried Lemmings, and this time all i got was sound, but no picture. I really wanna play moonstone, and have tried almost everything. Any ideas. TIA Please do not sign your messages! Sounds like you are using the wrong Kickstart. You using 1.3? And just how much RAM and what type have you got set up?

Moonstone is an easy game to play set up
Just use the config settings below: Kick 1.3 2MB Chip 8MB Fast 1MB Slow Sound emulated 100% accurate 68000 CPU Full ECS Chipset CPU bar to 4 Last edited by CPC464; 18 March 2003 at 01:15. |
