Big grin [Request] Shootout - C Holliman

I love this game. With some friends are trying to beat each others highscore everyday.
It plays only on A500 and some plus models. Even with aca 500 is unplayble (gfx corruption)
The game is PD and very small in size.

Thanks for your time.

very nice, tasty,i enjoy it very much, old simple arcade style vertical static shooter, great one button response speed, but also original in its idea,(stage 1 = 1 enemy, stage 2 = 2 enemies stage 3 = 3 enemies and so on),50fps,arcade gameplay in mind, showing some blitter capabilities (bobs) as my friend Vincentgr said some weeks before, needs some simple tactic to make it to higher levels, addictive

Yes please, a Whdload version of the game would be great.
I can't break Vincent's highscore on an emulator.
I need my real Amiga for such tasks!

Don't you have a spare 500?

I tested shootout, decompressed it also.. runs ok on 68000/68010 CPU on WinUAE, but once I change to 68020 or above then some weird graphical artifacts appear on the enemy trails...

I tried running with generic13.slave and point to the single executable file but had no success.

I have made a HardDisk version for ShootOut. It works.
What doesn´t work is the QuietKey for some reason.

https://eab.abime.net/zone/ShootOut.lha

Please Enjoy

Strange, it works for me.

With the Disk version i get Screen corruption.

With this, all is good.

I even tried it in WinUAE with max CPU speed and it still works.
and 68040 and JIT

Odd

AHA ... i found something
The game works fine ... also on the MIST FPGA (ECS) ...

BUT, if i choose AGA on the FPGA it looks ok at first, but when i play it gets all messy.

Can you try to boot in ECS mode ? Just as a test ?

I tried everything all those years.
Cache, drives, accelerator, no fast, original chipset, 1.3 rom.
Even Degrader with half a meg.
The game seems to dislike everything above 000 and 7MHz.

Hmmm, what a stubborn programm
It refuses to work on the FPGA in AGA mode

PS: No matter what i do, it´s always flawless in WinUAE. WT

Makes me nutz

I think we need some Pro here.

At the request of a Smurf the creation of a patch for WHDLoad has been added to my To Do list

PS:
is it possible to have screenshots with and without bug to compare? (to have a working basis when I have time to try to correct the problem)

That Smurf !!!

Thank you so much CFou! ; you are always so kind to us Smurfs

PS: Here is a Picture of the Game glitching on Mist AGA; can´t recreate it in WinUAE

But Vincent; the poor guy, is trying for almost 10 years to run this game;
even on real hardware with no success.

So, we have to help him out !

A fellow Amigian in need is a call for us !

God bless you CFou !

can you try beta patch in TheZone (Shootout WHDLoad's patch beta 0.9)?

it seems works fine on all my 68020+ AGA WinUAE configs
