?? Every movie will be available on streaming or DVD.

There are some technologies that shouldn't be nostalgic. Leeches in medicine. And VHS.

There’s always YouTube. I’ve searched old 80s and 90s adverts from time to time.

What you need is a MySpleen account. The not so good news is that I cannot provide you with an invite, even if I wanted to. It's a rather lenient tracker with free leech periods (one is currently running), you don't even need to maintain a certain ratio of ups vs downloads. It bears a lot of recorded shows, series etc. complete with ads, so you might find something to your liking there, presumably.

Me too. Crazy how much nostalgia commercials can release. Or that they are preserved quite well on Youtube. People actually upload VHS recordings of the commercials.

I definitely feel this post, there were a couple of VHS recordings from my childhood that I would have very much liked to be able to pop in today, grainy quality and all. I can remember a tape of Mickey's Christmas Carol that was popped in every year and watched every day for like two weeks straight. Strangely enough it's not on Disney+ in my region. Apparently not even Disney can show its own content everywhere :/

M-y S-p-l-e-e-n is your friend (well, assuming the possibility still exists to obtain an invite these days), they have it all... and more. I'll upload a rip of a tape recording of Mickey's Christmas Carol to my Mega account if that's all right with the top blokes.

A airing of Mickey's Christmas Carol on NBC as part of The Magical World of Disney. This has some christmas disney shorts then Mickey's Christmas Carol and then a making of Oliver and Company.
Tip top, don't you think ?

I have also experienced "TV adverts rabbit hole syndrome" myself. It's like travelling through time! It's a good feeling as well. Well for me it was.

Won't help me much, I need the Dutch audio version so I can watch it with my niece and nephew I'm just going to contact Disney+ themselves about it, it's kind of weird that it is not available. They have a "request a movie" feature so who knows.

Ask them for Song Of the South (1946) first. They're so embarrassed about this one (worth a watch actually, not merely for historical purposes), they'll do their best to bring you a pristine version of Mickey's Christmas Carol in no time . Joke aside, consider yourself lucky, Mickey’s Kerstfeest (1983) is on Vimeo . Unlike the tape recording I grabbed from MySpleen, the picture is very neat :

Are you sure...? There is lot changes currently going in some countries around the world - even if some movies are available then you must be educated to understand that they are wrong and should be forbidden (and they will be forbidden). Some countries even currently experiencing sessions of burning inappropriate books - i bet soon some books and movies will be not available soon...
We will experience Fahrenheit 451 in not so distant future...

Leeches and flies are very effective in situations where modern medicine is sometime hopeless...

O boy...

Can you also tell future, please??

Speaking of burning books and DVDs, perhaps it was movie, not TV news outlet...

Sure, there are extremes everywhere, but country propagated burning... I really like to hear where...

It took place actually. The book burning which I think he is referring to was held at some School a couple of years ago in Ontario, Canada.

Wow, that's great! I didn't even think to search for the actual Dutch name.

Me...? Of course not me, future is already told (only few examples) read Huxley "Brave, new world", read Orwell "1984", read Harrison "Make Room! Make Room!" (and based on this novel movie "Soylent green").

Some of these prophecies begin to materialize now...some details maybe in few decades, some perhaps not - overall trend however is extremely worrying.

This is not only Ontario 'flame purification' ('flame purification' sounds almost like quote from Bradbury "Fahrenheit 451"), for example in Sweden children books with "racist language and colonial stereotypes" were burned too...
I wish to be wrong on this... As a child i live in a country where some books was forbidden - listened Orwell "1984" in foreign radio (BBC)...
I remember this bad time very well...
