Aminet.net down?

Seems like the site has been down for a couple of hours now? Anyone heard anything about maintenance, or knows who is managing the site now?

yeah noticed it down yesterday, also as a side track weird question, does anyone else have the same issue with aminet i do? any time i use chrome and download pretty much anything from aminet, chrome 95% of the time blocks the downloads of anything, be it an lha file a readme text file, i always get the download blocked with the message "this may be harmful" needing to click "keep it anyways".

Cant remember which other sites it was but ive had this on 2 other amiga related sites and thought? why chrome? why? you like kicking a platform when its down?

Pretty sure that's due to it not defaulting to HTTPS.

Are you sure it's Chrome? I suspect you have some Antivirus application blocking files.

I with Chorme have never had a problem downloading files from Aminet

ive got an addon that forces https (or at least it should be)and ive made sure of that manually, also the message/block doesnt happen all the time, just "most" of the time, this also happened before i bothered using an antivirus, and it doesnt happen on firefox, edge or weirdly enough chromium, which i deffo cant get my head around. Maybe some rando setting elsewhere is doing it?

It may also be "HTTPS", FireFox for some Aminet archives asks me for permission to be able to fdownload the files, probably these files could be found on outdated Servers.

As said I don't have messages or other problems on Chrome either, allo it depends on antivirus applications, version and setting of Chrome but also by Operating System used, in short it could be many factors.

Even Firefox, used to ask me for permission, then after a clean and updated reinstallation I have no more requests.
