Help with Old Mod on Cassette
Hello all,
Sometime ago I posted a small sample of a MOD I have on cassette and unfortunately it didn't ring any bells here. I have a much longer sample now and I'm hoping someone might recognize it! I've been listening through hours of clips on YouTube of Amiga Demos from around the late 80's when I think this was recorded but so far no joy - even though the type of samples used seems to be from the era. I thought maybe a cracktro but it doesn't seem the sort of piece you would have on that? Sorry for the poor quality. [ Show youtube player ] Any help most welcome! d |

This sounds like quite early Soundtracker stuff to me, using a lot of ST-01 samples for sure, so its quite early, 1988 onwards I would say.

It really doesn't seem an exotic format
I agree with Galahad, sounds like a Soundtracker module |

I just quite like it and was curious to find out what it was. But with all the tracks created around that time using all the same sample set it could be tricky... |

Sounds like a remix/sound-a-like of Crockett's Theme.

Nah, it's mostly luck I recognized Mark II sound system sounds and it was just a matter of trying my luck on the few Amiga prods with those.
