Testing Waters: GVP A500HD+

How much do you think it's worth?

Excellent condition, with 8MB ram + 52 or 105MB Quantum Drive.

Thanks

I think it's worth what somebody is willing to pay for it.

Location is the main deciding factor,

pending on where you want to sell the item, it may fetch more in areas where these devices are not as prolific.

looking at exchange rates I would say around the $80CAD for the top end of a sale in europe, perhaps more in lesser saturated markets, like Canada =)

what ever you deicded, understand that everones view will be different, and there is no correct valuation other than what you would be happy to sell the item for, so with any evaluation take it with a picnh of salt and look around for more. (even mine =))

if you haven't already signup to www.amibay.com, this is a place to trade you items for free, all you need to do is put a price to your item(s) for sale as its not an auction site, you can even state or best / near offer

On AmiBay you are more than welcome to revise your price an make any trades with other members that you want, always give the rules and guildines a good read though.

Thanks Zetr0 for your comment,

I did'nt want to list it for a ridiculously high price. I could'nt find how much the last one sold for.

Location is most important for shipping, cause the end price could rocket depending on it. I don't think I could sell it for more in Canada because they are so few users here. Demand mostly drive the price up, not rarity.

Anyway, thanks again, you buy / sell so much stuff that you're kinda the reference around

See ya!

If I hadn't already bought one, I'd have paid near 100 EUR for such a thing. If I'd had money I might even go very slightly over 100 EUR+reasonable shipping. But that's me. Others might hesitate to go that high I think, for various reasons. Some guy might pay even more if it's just the thing he wants. Board revision number and ROM version (as well as pictures and 'tested working' info) is often helpful to know for knowledgable or hesitant buyers. And many are both

I got my A500HD8+ for £10 (inc postage)

I got my GVP Impact Series 2 + 8MB Fast for £25 (inc postage)

it doesn't mean those items are worth that, infact all that represents is a point of sale.... what they are worth comes down to personall use - for what they give an An A500 or A2000 to me its certainly well worth keeping ones' mits on =D
