I asked this some weeks back in preparation for this game cropping up and the differences between the two versions are purely cosmetic. I played the CD32 version myself.

There appears to be a pretty big problem with the linked ADFs in this thread - they crash during the underwater levels. So I would advise anybody using these to stop and try some others before it gets painful.

If anybody finds some working ones can you please post them here so we can get the links updated, thanks!

I do seem to remember it crashed at some point back in the day on my A500.

I have upped the Crack Inc. version to the zone, maybe that works ?

Just a question - if say I decided to do this using the IPF original, would my score still count?

Yep! You don't have to use the exact versions linked to here. As long as it's the same game you can use whatever version you want.

Inc Crack version doesn't seem to work, after entering the code, I can't catch all the pieces of the key ?!
Now I use the whdload version and for the moment I haven't problems.

I actually consider this to be a pretty poor performance for me, as my previous HS was over one million.

also (quoted from Predseda on the LA forum, but I'm not going to sign up there just to make one lame post)

I found several warps, but they only confuse me and I think it is better not to use them, at least in hunt for points playing.
This is not true, for example there's an additional 20-50k points to be had on the bonus level in the icy world, a couple of treasure chests in highland levels, and I could go on. Although I would agree that the warps which skip levels should be avoided, these only make up a very small number of all the warps available.

This game's title should have been "Fiddly and Annoying".

In level four, in the botom right hand corner of the map there is a power up block. Stand on top of it and jump straight up.

Don't make the power block appear until after you have got all the parts of the key and killed the thing in front of the exit and taken the little coyote there to get the extra life. Avoid the falling snow when trying to kill the thing.
