Question Payed with paypal to register MUI about a month ago, but still no key...

Anyone knows how to contact MUI author (except the emails on the sasg site?)
I payed almost a month ago via paypal, but never heared of him... I understand he might not look at MUI that much, but it has been almost a month....
I know he stopped development and there are tons keys free, but I wanted my own

hmm I bought one about a year ago, stefan told me that his A3000 had bit the dust and gave some pre made key nad told me NOT to share it.

here is the email he was using in 2005

stefan@stuntz.com

here what he told me back in october 2005:

hi pierre

please let me apologize for the delay in handling your
registration. due to a hardware failure of my good old a3000, i am
unable to create personalized keyfiles at the moment. when i manage to
repair it, you will get one immediately.

until then, please use the keyfile attached to this email. it's David
Gerber's key (co-author of Voyager and AmIRC), he allowed me to use it
for this purpose. please do not spread it, even if it's not your name.
MUI will be unlocked just as it would with your personalized keyfile,
just copy to s: and reboot.

thanks for ordering and thanks for your patience,
stefan

Now that I think about it he never did make me my own key file......

With emulation being so good these days, if it was making him any income at all he would/could generate keys on a PC/Mac.

I bet he just cannot be arsed

Someone should suggest Stefan to use WinUAE to make keys - I bet no one has yet.

Using WinUAE is a good idea, but I'm willing to bet like so many others he hasn't bothered to back up his files.

If he can't provide keys anymore, he should take the page down that keropi linked as it's misleading or change the wording to reflect the current situation.

it is a shame I don't have a key with my name, but at least I am feeling OK because I actually payed for it... so I look at the key as a generic one, and not a personall.... maybe he could make a final key saying just "registered version" that would be more elegant...

I bet he has them on floppy but doesnt realise that if he has two floppy drives in his PC then he can convert them to ADF without an Amiga.

I have experienced this - just the other day I registered and received the same email from Stefan - If we are good enough to register and not use pirate keys the least he can do is listen - I will email him later on today and suggest that we would like our individual keys and ask can he create them via WinUae.

I will post any response I receive as soon as I hear.

I suggested to Stefan what we discussed about creating MUI Keyfiles in WinUAE...

I received an email from Stefan this morning Re my MUI Registration... it said...

"Please excuse the delay. I am currently not at home and cannot handle registrations. Service will continue around march 15th. Thanks for your patience.

Stefan."

I guess I will have to wait until then to receive my personal key... same for anyone else waiting I imagine...

I will update here when I hear more...
