DoomAttack is the fastest for 68k Amigas

A number are fuller featured, such as the novacoder ports, but require a very fast machine.

Did you tried
xxxxxxxxxdoom4everxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

edit sorry, had to break the link... not allowed to link to full doom wads as they still copyright... but google will help

It is a -------- site but pretty forward to understand.
I'm fine with the first one "Ultimate DOOM"

I use A DOOM but I think i should give DoomAttack a change

You should have pointed him to 'doomarchive' for the Shareware Wad
or else 'FreeDoom'

sorted now anyway , had a play of Doom and pretty impressed with how it runs, albeit in low detail but seems to run well , but maybe will struggle later on in the games when theres a lot more action going on.
but for novelty value its great, and something to show off the Amigas power

Wolfenstein 3D should also run pretty well on a CD32 with some FASTRAM

Id love to try it ,but unfortunately i'm far to lazy to bother ,seeing as i don't own Wolf 3D on the PC it would be a pita trying to track down all the needed files.

EDIT: downloaded and installed , doesn't work in winuae ,gives error msg , chunky to planar conversion failed, using rtg instead.
On my CD32 it just makes the screen all corrupted like on the old versions of Akiko.

as far as i can tell, it hasnt made any difference at all sadly.

nice , ive given up trying to get akiko working lol, altho i did notice ppl appear to have a new tf330 firmware update that seems to "significantly" improve the performance , the downside for me being i don't have a rasberry pi or know anyone who does

seems like with that firmware the akiko issue doesn't really matter as the performance increase is pretty good.

Can’t whomever built your tf330 reflash it for you?

I had my card reflashed by one of the guys who builds them on amibay
