Savestates with hdf?
Are savestates with hdf supported in WinUAE?

Not really as far as I'm aware; as if files change then you reload the state, you could possibly get data corruption.
I'm mean, I've used them before and all was ok but I know that no file / data changes were occurring e.g. with say one of the bare-bones / self-booting .HDFs that I've created which are not complex. |

There is longer description of the problem in some other thread. But short answer: it can't work if it is read-write. (at least without keeping matching hdf with statefile)

It'd be cool if UAE added snapshottable storage device deltas as part of the savestate, like you can when setting a savestate/snapshot in something like vmware.
