2D, Gun and Run, Side scroller, similar to Super Probotector/Contra 3, brain boss.
Trying to remember a game I played as a kid. It appears to be similar to Contra III/Super Probotector. You could turn your gun 360 and the graphics were good. It came out no later than 1991. There were various weapons including missiles and flame throwers. The game was one or two players.
The final boss was a giant brain, but different to that in Contra III. This brain hovered and it may have been on the Moon as I think the earth is in the background. It took under an hour to finish as I remember it could be played in a lunch hour. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

It sounds like midnight resistance but I dont know about the moon bit.
