Putty Squad!
Look at this on gameindustry.biz. Apparently they're going to release Putty Squad!
Disclaimer: on the PS2. |

Name change?
I am dazed and confused. The company converts old System 3/Studio 3 titles like Constructor, Putty Squad and International Karate to the PS2. The company is also headed by Mark Cale (former System 3 boss).
Has System 3/Studio 3 changed its name once again? B.T.W. I think these titles are more suitable for a GBA than PS2. The general PS2 audience is more 3-D oriented. |

'Play It' is just a budget label belonging to Studio 3.

Yeah, such a low price may be reasonable for 2-D outings but I really don't know how Joe Public would reason about it. |

Fuck.
This is why contact with John Twiddy was futile, I think. Suddenly the man disappeared. If they are releaseing this on PS2, no fucking way in hell we are getting a free Amiga version |

You could always play the almost-identicle Snes version on Zsnes - that's what I do. Not the same, I know, but better than nothing.

The Snes version is the same game, so how is it "pure shite"?

Comparing it to the Amiga demo verson (since none of us has ever seen the full one) it lacks in many aspects. Technically is far inferior, for one.

I don't doubt that John Twiddy's enthusiasm wasn't sincere, but I'd have my doubts about Mark Cale looking at $$$$$. But I agree its ridiculous they still cannot see their way to releasing this would've been Amiga classic-even if the market was dying at the time, its still a mystery why they didn't release it to cut their losses-unfortunately,it'll probably be shoehorned into some crappy GBA or Nokia mobile gaming format or some crap-who cares,we just want to see THE REAL THING!! |
