DOPUS 4... Where is the very latest version?

I use the fantastic DOPUS version 4.17 pre14 and I just wondered if any more recent version was available (if possible stable)?

Dopus 5 is the latest for the Amiga, bit of wiert setup

You need to buy it or know the place to download it

I think the latest is DOpus 5.5 & Magelan Add on.

thanks, my request was more about DOPUS 4

I am a bit oldschool and DOPUS 5.5 is far too slow and too intrusive in the system for me

So anything better than 4.17 Pre14 ?

GPSoft released source code for 4.12 (still available on their website) - so I imagine that this was the last official version of 4.x. Don't know about the development that occurred after this.

(and for 5.x, the last release of DOpus on the Amiga was Magellan II, version 5.82)

there is also a ML dopus4.17 in yahoo I think.

the author release the source. if someone would like to develop more dopus4.17 and konw C, I will be very happy for that.

A lot of people are unaware that DOpus 4.12 source code was released and that updates are being developed as an ongoing open source/GPL project. So if you didn't know about this (or just plain missed the topic heading like me), the question would have been a confusing one.

I saw the version pre21 but I can't make it work on my system.
Maybe I do something wrong.
first of all the executable inside the archive is released as 4.17 pre20 then when i try to load it Dopus request the dopuslib version 22.22 even if the lib 22.22 is present in libs:
Does anybody knows howto make it work ?

Sounds like perhaps you didn't flush out the libs after installing the new version over the old one. You've probably tried this, but have you tried running the new version after a fresh boot? I've noticed that you posted in another thread about problems with MCP. Are there any known system patches like MCP or Magic Menu that you are running that are listed in the docs to cause problems or instability with this or previous versions of DOpus 4.17?
