force close of audio.device

I am currently trying to get WHDload to work on my machine. I don't know of any software that is working with the audio.device, but when I attempt to load a slave, I get Audio.device in use retry, ignore cancel. Is there a way of forcing WHDload to take over the audio.device?

Hello,

on Amiga you cannot use 2 audio programs/outputs at one time. So if you listen to music, a MOD file etc, this program "owns" audio.device. If you then start WHD load, WHDload wants to own audio.device, this is causing the question on what you want to do, forcing audio.device for whdload, or not.

So if you have some programs in use end task before. If you are not listening to audio when starting whd, there is another problem. Have a look at some "task managers" on what programs are maybe started and using audio decive.

Thanks for the input. Is there a name for a good task manager?
