Hi everyone.

Well, the tittle says it all, has anyone around a list of them?

Thanks.

Usually a single 4.7uF @ 16V
Single 100uF @ 6.3V
About 8-12 47uF @ 16V
Single 10uF @ 35V
Four Non Polarized 22uF @ 16V
Single 22uF @ 16V

If I missed anything sorry, but let me ask why it's not just easier to and mark the tops of them as you go and then write a manifest?

Remember to check the datasheet for the old caps, so you get new ones with correct ESR + ripple specs.

He meant the PSU, not the motherboard.

I am indeed an idiot, or maybe I should when writing replies

I haven't got a list of PSU caps, I replaced mine long ago with ATX supplies.

@Loedown:

Thanks anyway, but yes, I meant the PSU ones . I agree in that I could desolder and list them. But as I want to order them of an specific and good quality brand (i.e Panasonic) and also the fact that I'm using this PSU now, I asked just to avoid the PSU-less times between desoldering, ordering them, and waiting for that order to arrive.

Also the mATX PSU option seems good, at least a lot better than restoring a near to 20 years old 145W-only PSU! , but for me seems simpler to replace those capacitors than doing mechanical tricks to adapt one mATX PSU to the original A4000 case and/or the original PSU housing.

Regards.

Try to get capacitors with a low ESR rating as switching power supplies lasts longer with them.
A google search for "ESR capacitor PSU" e.g. should reveal some information about it.

Ok thanks for the hint, I know that low ESR is a must when speaking on the mobo's ones (already and sucesfully replaced on my A4000) but really didn't know this on PSU's ones, thanks

Regards.

Who told you that? I'm not sure but I think it doesn't matter much if the ESR is OK or low on the motherboard, but it does in the PSU at least.

Don't remeber, I read it somewhere or perhaps is just my misbelief, however AFAIK it dosen't hurt.

Still searching.
