Digikey has a few but look under Oscillators for the 4 pin types, ACH-33.000MHZ is available.

Shaf, that Oscilator is the half size. I need 14 pin din. But no worries. I found on ebay for 99 cents 32mhz crystal Fox F1100E which is a direct replacement for my 25mhz crystal. So I will only get 64mhz and not 66mhz. I don't think it will make any speed difference. And the 68060 should run a little cooler

Wouldnt you need a 66mhz crystal to run at 66 with an 060? I know in my apollo with an 040 a 66mhz crystal runs at 33 with an 040 and 66 with an 060?

I was thinking the same. My 50Mhz 68060 has a 50Mhz crystal. Maybe it depends on the board?

Yes, seems that GVP is different compared to other makes.

On my 060 accelerator it has a 25mhz crystal so that runs the CPU at 50mhz, so to get 66mhz I need a 33mhz crystal.

My 2c: you might not be able to overclock that GVP. The timing of the 25mhz crystal is also for the board, ram etc.
I had very little success overclocking GVP products back in the day. Also, definitely have a cooler on that CPU if it is original from the 90s since they ran super hot. J |

This is a Rev. 1 68060. If it even runs at 66 MHz (some are reported to be able to) you can boil an egg on it...

Maybe you should try a selection of clock crystals?
My CyberStorm MKII (also an early XC version) worked at 66Mhz but the SCSI module didn't like it. I'm a little scared of breaking it! At 50MHz it never gets really hot (A4000). |

We are off to a good start. I put the 32Mhz crystal in the accelerator and it booted. So in order to see if it really works, I need to complete the build.
