I almost forgot...

30x Box of 3.5" floppy to convert back ADF to floppy.
Bizarrely, I prefer those floppy to my Gotek... I'm weird like that.

But I must admit, having to rename all those long filename ADF so they can be recognized by ADFBlitz can be a pain. I've converted the "0-9" and "A" titles yesterday (minus the sport titles, foreign language (beside english and french) and flight sims which I don't play).

It's a labor of love!

I got extremely lucky and managed to pick up this beauty for the incredible price of a couple of beers:

(My first AGA machine <3)

I've not been able to do much with it (waiting for the 3.5" PATA to CF adapter to arrive in the mail tomorrow-ish), but I'm in love.
Appears to have a standard C= 040 card, 2MB chip and 16MB fast (although I think more RAM is plugged in, as all slots are filled and 2 modules are marked "8MB").
There's an old X-surf card in there (no idea which model, it's from 1999 though), and some videocard that seems to not really do much more than provide S-video and composite (alongside standard amiga RGB).

Also included with it were a crate full of floppies (must be hundreds of 'em), a ton of old Amiga magazines, CD-ROMs, bunch of assorted cables, an "Emulator 2000" PC emulator card (8088) and this interesting contraption:

I'm pretty sure this is supposed to work as an external HD-FDD for the A4000 (that's what the cable is for anyway), but so far all it does is show up as DF2:????, even if no disk is inserted, so who knows if it works or not.

I hope to be able to upgrade it in various ways over time. Especially a 060 would be nice, but considering the prices they usually go for, I doubt I'll ever own one in my lifetime.

EDIT: here's a shot of the bin with floppies as well:

Maaaaaybe one day. If I can transport it by car. I don't think I'd want to drag this around in a suitcase or bag ^^;

Cloanto's nearly complete (what happened to workbench 3.0 and extras, and 2.0's extras?) set of adf images of Amiga OS. Just needed to try 2.1 out properly.

Great purchase!!!

EOB 1 & 2 are great games, but in my opinion Dungeon Master is the Epic Of all RPGs and only on 1 floppy disc

I agree 100%. The floppy experience is part of what I loved about the Amiga. Some games that have a lot of disks (4+) might get put on the hard disk, but floppies will remain a daily part of Amiga use for me.

@Knoeki

I find these good for an A4000

http://www.ebay.nl/itm/40Pin-ATA-IDE...item25a6fa3907

Gives you access to the CF card without opening the case.

Don't forget to set your MaxTransfer to 0x1FE00

I actually have a proper version of EOB2 that I'm trying to sell.. I don't mind owning a budget release if it means I can buy two games for the price of mine.

I like the adapters from PC Engines, they're cheap as can be and work well in the A1200:
