I do believe that's the same guy who's trying to sell this http://www.allegro.pl/item149957744_...i_nowosc_.html. The difference is that his asking 89 zl for it which amounts to something like 16 GBP. For all you price conscious people out there (just noticed the price includes free shipping so not a real difference in cost)
It's probably one of those homemade ps2m converters that keropi is talking about. Last edited by ppill; 21 December 2006 at 14:19. |

Maybe Atari and Amiga mice are compatible ?
This looks something little bit different cause ps2m doesn't support third button, and as far as I know you need a software driver for it and only works at workbench. Or he fixed the third button function to something (like select contents or something) and it can't be changed. |

@jope: why autodetect the computer? it takes power, and simply does a dummy translation of the mouse data, ps2->amiga serial.... it does not need to know anything more, just needs a data feed

Because even though the signals are compatible between the Amiga and ST, two signals are on swapped pins in the connector. The horizontal and vertical quotients, if I remember right.
If you're really interested, check HWB. Perhaps Atari has some output signal on one pin that the adapter can detect and then swap the lines. |
