Been playing Alan Wake again since part 2 is on the way.
My god it's so - much - walking around shining a flashlight in people's faces. I hope they can inject a little more varied gameplay into the sequel. |

The developer Ninja Theory really put a lot of effort into this game and it shows... What a game, what an experience. the game affects you, the ending was magnificient.... one of the best experiences I've had playing any game [ Show youtube player ] |

So last week I beat Sand Scorpion for the Arcade, which was an okay shooter, not a complete waste of time but not my favorite by any means. I also beat Mega Man X2 for the SNES last week as well and while a fine game I didn't have as much enjoyment with it as I did Mega Man X.
Yesterday I beat Shinobi for the Arcade and that was a lot of fun. Even on the easy difficulty I found the game challenging and it was worth it. |

System Shock
Only played for an hour yesterday, but I'm already hooked. It does feel like a proper remake rather than a 'reimagining' of the original. Same creepy atmosphere, much better controls and interface. |

I've had to eagerly wait for like three years or something for the release of that game. Now I kind of don't want to break the anticipation :/

At one point I was sure that this remake will be all kinds of bad. When they put the demo up I downloaded it at once, but forgot about it. When the reviews started to show up a couple of days ago I avoided them to get an unspoiled first impression for myself. Glad I did and that Nightdive didn't 'Blade Runner' this one

System Shock remake added to the next to try list
atm, i'm replaying Puzzle Dimension after long time soft soundtrack, relaxing gameplay, no frustrating clock limits, perfect for my tastes |

I finished Forza Horizon 5 Expansion DLC Badlands 100% All tasks & Achievements both online & offline on PC.
Now I have the previous DLC Hot Wheels to play and finish. Then finish off all remaining tasks in the main game |

So last week I beat Bucky O'Hare for the Arcade on MAME and that was a lot of fun just what I needed after a long week at work.
Yesterday I beat Black on the OG Xbox. I had played and beat the PS2 version a long time ago but wanted to give a play on the Xbox version and its still as fun the second time around. |

Octopath Traveler (PC)
i was just searching for a new jrpg turn based to play, after a lot of time from the last one (something on xbox360) i was a devourer of this specific genre in past choosed this also cause not so big in crude GB size EDIT old style mechanic combined with a lovely pixel art, 2 days into uninterruptly hope this genre will never be full replaced with the action based one Last edited by kremiso; 18 June 2023 at 17:36. |
