Something that I forgot to add is that most of the comments regarding outdated programs/libs in this thread are now addressed.
The time that I can devote to this project is still very limited but hopefully, -now that it's on GitHub- others can fork it and adjust it to their liking if needed.

Maybe my 3.2.2.1 install wasn't quite "vanilla enough"? I'm not being very lucky.

It reboots to AmigaDOS telling me that Intuition want to reset the Workbench screen and that I should close the unclosable AmigaDOS screen. Sounds like P96 is trying to set my screen mode, but things aren't in order.

I've got image backups and can very easily experiment. What I'm unsure of is posting a screenshot here. Bit of a forum noob.

FOLLOWUP: Yes, indeed. All the stuff I had beforehand, already installed must have interfered. From clean to BestClassic definitely provides a better experience hehehe

Could someone steer me on to what accelerator and RAM settings I need to configure as it runs very jerky on my WinUAE?

Well, I got that error on a fresh install.

protect SYS:#? +rwe ALL

does help, but seems a bit excessive. Maybe the maintainer could add it to the script for the files which need it.

@a-tho if we can pinpoint the exact files that need `+rwe ALL` I would happily add that to the install script. I haven't run into this issue locally myself.
