Question Stunt Track Racer TNT?

Stunt Car Racer runs smoother on the Atari ST than on Amiga. But it sounds awful...

Stunt Track Racer - as it's an NTSC game - runs at 60Hz and is slightly better on the Amiga than the original PAL version.

Now my question: Is there an ADF of "Stunt Track Racer TNT" available?
(WHDLoad isn't an option now 'cause I'd wanna use it in UAE4All.)

Thanks, already got this. But I mean Stunt Track Racer TNT. The 60Hz NTSC version...

Of course it could be that the creator of TNT never bothered to patch Stunt Track Racer with his new tracks.

Ah okay. Never seen it anywhere. You could ask AmiGer via email if it exists or if he could make such a version.

I'm not sure why you don't just run Stunt Car Racer in NTSC..

Because the sound would get sped up, wouldn't it?

Also there's no option in UAE4All to run a PAL game 20% faster.

Very probably. Sounding like a 33 rpm record played at 45 rpm

I used to own and love my ST but i never saw this increase to smoothness people talk about with this game or any other 3d on ST.Yes it may be there but not to any significant degee

I'd say the best way to play Stunt Car anyway is at the least on an A1200 with NTSC set- i'm sure this game must have been intended to run at this rate because it seems more realistic regards to gravity. The framerate is locked so you don't need much more power than a standard A1200

I always mention this in Stunt Car Racer threads but people really need to run this game in NTSC for best results- with an A1200 at least because A500 speed makes it less apparant

Mind you most ST games people played we're probably cracks and they usually had ths NTSC switch and that would possibly explain why people mention this difference

No, if the sound was based on vblank timings, it'd sound the way its supposed to actually.

Playing it in PAL would be like playing a 45 rpm record at 33 rpm.
