Jimmy's Fantastic Journey
Hey guys,
Thought I'd give this game a try... Unfortunately these disks all suffer from graphics issues (see attached screenshot): ... Jimmy's Fantastic Journey v1.3 (1995)(Lionheart)[cr Crest][f].zip ... Jimmy's Fantastic Journey v1.3 (1995)(Lionheart)[cr Crest][t +3 LFC].zip These disks don't but a bit concerned by the "[b checksum error]" flag: ... Jimmy's Fantastic Journey v1.3 (1995)(Lionheart)[cr Crest][b checksum error].zip ... Jimmy's Fantastic Journey v1.3 (1995)(Lionheart)[cr Crest][t +3 LFC][b checksum error].zip Does anyone have any other disks or is it cool to use one of the "[b checksum error]" files? |

This one works, default A500 with CE enabled......
jimmys_fantastic_journey_v1_3_(1995)(lionheart)[cr_crest]-amiga EDIT: This one also works, A500+ no CE needed...... jimmys_fantastic_journey_v1_3_(1995)(lionheart)[cr_crest][t_+3_lfc]-amiga Last edited by Arnie; 21 January 2016 at 12:56. |

Thanks for testing Arnie
The only way I can get the game to work is by using an 1200 Quickstart. With any other Quickstart (and also what you've suggested above) the game crashes with a "Software Failure" after the protection screen and loading for a bit. Wonder what I'm doing wrong... |

Damn, still crashes with "Software Failure" using your config...
Nothing special in there; OCS + 512 KB Chip / 512 KB Slow + KS 1.3. Can you provide the CRCs of the ADF that you're using? |

Hmmm, can get it working using your config (and mine or a standard QS 500) but have to use one of these disks:
... Jimmy's Fantastic Journey v1.3 (1995)(Lionheart)[cr Crest][b checksum error].zip {CRC: 9196BED2} ... Jimmy's Fantastic Journey v1.3 (1995)(Lionheart)[cr Crest][t +3 LFC][b checksum error].zip {CRC: 24FC48D8} I guess the disk you are using must match one of the above? |

CRC32: 9196BED2
Here's an RP9 for AF users. (Rename the .zip to .RP9) DamienD, You can extract the adf from the zip. Last edited by Arnie; 21 January 2016 at 12:56. |

Ah, the one you use is the same as "Jimmy's Fantastic Journey v1.3 (1995)(Lionheart)[cr Crest][b checksum error].zip"...
TOSEC must have mixed up / reversed the names so to speak i.e. all ones with "[b checksum error]" work while the others don't. |

Yeah, It seems a lot of sites don't keep the naming convention when they host files. There is an IPF version if you have the manual.
