A1200 floppy drive ?
i am going nuts with my 1200 i have the early motherboard
my floppy drive dont work anymore and it takes forever before i get the to the bootscreen is that normal ? |

Disconnect floppy drive and see if it causes same issue. May be another fault if it remains the same.

Have you had your 1200 recapped? Your issues sound similar to mine. I recapped and replaced the keyboard membrane and all is good in the world now.

No it is not recapped.. from day one this motherboard is so sensitive.. if i put my finger on the floppydrive it goes bananas really wtf is going on

I removed floppy and now it shows the boot screen after power on no delay and i got the keyboard working
can i boot from a cf card now without the floppy drive ? |

It could be a faulty CIA that's causing these issues. If you could test your board using DiagRom or Amiga Test Kit, either could help you find the fault?

OMG now the keyboard is acting up.. the right side of the keyboard works fine
and the left side of the keyboard is slow when type something i press a key for 3seconds and then it shows up lets say if i press caps lock so the light turns on .. after 3 seconds it will light up........ |
