Is the Amiga version supposed to have new advertisement boarding, pitch designs? Still showing 16/17 on mine?

apparently its meant to have some minor gfx upgrades, all the sound samples are replaceable with your own, think the advertisement hoardings are 2 altho not 100% on that 1, full match replays, but to me doesnt seem any different other than updated player names/teams, but i never really pld Swos that much back then.

Anyway.. I pointed the huge install to a folder with the .hdf in and the installer still fails the check.


EDIT: ok I had to rename the hdf file. :/

EDIT1: Choose keyboard, redefine .. the game still plays with the bloody mouse!

It’s the shame the pc additions (more crowd sound effects, commentary) weren’t included in the Amiga update as they really add to the game

Anyone having problems with the controls?

My controllers are detected (and I have used auto detection as well) and the test confirms all working. However when the game starts - nothing. Only the mouse can kick off, etc.

I have made sure player-coach is selected also

Rookie error - looks like if you use the mouse to control the menu it overrides your controller selection.

Not sure why you have slowdowns.

For real Amiga only team database and some little graphics have been updated.

The majority of the updates for the windows version would simply not work on Amigas!

I think it was the pitch I was using (the one with the shadows on the pitch). For some reason the framerate on that pitch is really poor. When I downloaded the full pack and tried different pitch designs the game seemed to run a lot smoother.
