Thumbs up Kung Fury

According to the trailer they use a MicroBee and ZX Spectrum to travel back in time

This short movie has to be made.

Looks too intended trashy. Just like the new Machete kills. Not really funny imo.

I came across Kung Fury a couple of days ago, I think it looks ace. I haven't donated but I hope they earn plenty of money from it as I'd like to see these guys go on to do more Viking girl <3

You probably also don't like shows such as Family Guy or South Park then God I love that type of humor that lays it on really thick intentionally.

There is a fine line if it's funny, like Danger 5, or only the usual trash.

It's all subjective but yeah, there's a thin line between "trying-too-hard funny" and "actually funny".
While shows like South Park or Family Guy are usually crafted to balance between those two, we usually know what to expect from them and from time they do have a joke that's actually new or so offensive it's funny.
Danger 5 was awesome but gradually went to being boring, they forgot how to joke in the last episodes, and already the Hitler and Dinosaurs jokes were way over the "trying-too-hard" region. Although the "shot through a telephone" joke still cracks me up.
Hard to judge what's this going to be, it's only a trailer, it's meant to show the most obnoxious things... maybe it's going to be balanced a bit more as a whole? I wished.

They intend to make a 30 minutes short movie. It could work. But it wouldn't work as a full length movie. Others tried and failed miserably.

I thought it was funny all the way through and was sad when I got to the final episode. Hmmm... I think I'll rewatch them tomorrow

It's awesome, personally I didn't like that they stole the "shooting through telephone" scene from Danger 5, but the movie is radical and gnarly and like totally bad and all that 80's crap.

PS: It's also on... Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/374570/ AND there's a game for 1,99€ called Kung Fury: Street Rage! http://store.steampowered.com/app/373180/
