New Amiga website
Hi,
I ve created a new website focusing only on public domain games - the aim of the site is to promote the best of freeware / shareware / licenceware games. Please visit www.amigapd.com and let me know what you think. I am currently trying to determine a top 10 of public domain platform games, so please vote for your favourites. Amigapd |

What a fantastic idea for a web site. So many great PD games out there. This place looks like it'll be the ideal place to pull out the wheat from the chaff.
It was only this morning that I was wonder what had happened to Mr. Beanbag. As well as PD games from years gone by, are you also going to keep an eye on recently released and future PD game titles coming to the Amiga? |

Looks great!
What do you do to find full versions of shareware games - maybe you have some we don't know about!! Of course we can share some with you for your site... depending on the authors permission. |

Thats amazing, well done. There is such a library of titles it will be great to see this resource.
Some memories now of looking in Amiga Format and seeing those long lists of titles by Anglia PD etc. Now it is on a website with pics and dowloads! Awesome. |

I ve added Burton Bird to the list, please feel free to vote for it. I also managed to find a disk image of the game - it is great and one I wasn;t aware of - just checking the legality of making this available - the licenceware games on the site F1 or 5th Dimenson which the majority have now become available as PD (see link on the website).

I have lots of public domain cds - 17Bit - United Pd - CDPD - Assasins e.t.c. The idea of the website was to try to cut through the 1,000s of disk to get to the good stuff.

One observation - if you go into the platform games section, screenshot 14 doesn't have a caption. |

Any help is greatly received - What I would like to do is get youtube clips, screenshots and short game descriptions for each game featured in the top 10 platform section so that people can look at the games before voting.
The game in image 14 is wonderland and I will try to add a caption to that - In the meantime I have updated the navigation and added a very basic forum in the site which will be dedicated to public domain issues only. I ve also added another 40 Assassin games disk images for download - I have gone through my cd roms and I have 250+ Assassin games disk images so will upload them as quickly as possible - Thanks again to everyone for their support. |

Finally a new site with PD games! I've been looking for a site like this for a long time now. Before i used to visit Games-Coffer. But it's seems dead now.
I hope you get more games there with screenshots! Thanks! |

awesome idea... infact i planned to do this myself, but also to provide free downloads or buy DD/DS discs for 99p each (for real Amiga owners without transfer ability)... some may remember my threads about buying new blank DS/DD discs some time ago...
but again congratz on a good site |
