Thank you SkulleateR for already testing my new version of AROS One v2.2.

Regarding the German Keymap (pc105_d), probably something is broken in the new version.

Can you please tell me what faults you found, so that I can test, and report the problem to the developer, thanks !

It just won't work at all

If I choose GERMAN in PREFS > INPUT I don't get the german layout to use ÖÄÜ for example ... I then copied over the pc105_d from Icarus Desktop and after a reboot it works fine

You can also test this by opening a Shell and try to use SETKEYBOARD with any keymap ...

for example SETKEYBOARD PC105_GR works fine ... same with PC105_D won't ...

Ok, indeed the file "pc105_d" taken from the last build is corrupted (not executable), I have checked and the versions installed on the old AROS One also work fine! I will report the problem to the good deadwood, thanks for the report.

Successfully tested Heroes of Might and Magic II both in native version (porting) and with DosBox.

Heroes of Might and Magic II also runs well on OS 3.9 BB4 RTG (AfA One)

I don't know if this is the right thread...
...But this happens to me, and it freezes.
It is not the corrupt iso, I have downloaded it twice.
But it opens virtually even in winUAE.
Any idea?

WinUAE? don't get confused, there are two versions of AROS One, one 68k and one x86, your error could be due to the low RAM configured on VirtualBox.

The 68k version runs on a Real Amiga and on WinUAE (currently not distributed, waiting for more compatibility)

The x86 version reviewed in this post boots Natively on PC (Compatible), on VMware and VirtualBOX

Now I'll create a configuration to boot the AROS One ISO with Virtual BOX and you'll see that it will boot in a few seconds and will be usable even from Live

Created a small video Tutorial showing how to configure AROS One on VirtualBox, Audio hardly works.

As I have always advised, best to use VMware, easy to configure, Audio and Network is already functional by default, no need to configure anything.

The virtual DVD said, it loads on all sides, included in WinUAE. copied with DOpus4 and no errors.

I still don't understand, what does WinUAE have to do with it, AROS One x86 cannot boot on WinUAE, did you watch the attached video?
The ISO is standard and can be mounted anywhere, but to boot it you need a PC, VMware, VirtualBox or QEmu

I don't boot the DVD in UAE, I just open it.
I launch the DVD in virtualbox, and I get an error with Amistart

OK, for the DVD consultation WinUAE is fine!

On VirtualBox you are doing something wrong, you don't have to choose a Windows or Linux system, watch the Video !

The error on AmiStart can be RAM, or some Hardware not well configured, for example if you configure a wrong Sound Card, Amistart will not start.

2 new games available on Aros-Archive, "Passcodes" network word guessing game, and the updated version of "Pagan Sacrifice".
Both games have been tested on AROS One, if you decide to install them on AROS One, I can create AROS One-style icons on request.

Integration work on next AROS 32-bit release (the core system) has started. If you have a compatible hardware running previous version of AROS I encourage you to take part in tests so that bugs and regressions can be spotted and fixed.
