FlowerPot question

I am attempting to install the newest revision of the Amiga Operating System on my Windows 11 machine.

I have 4 Amiga 500 machines which haven't been touched in about 25 years in my basement. However, I remember some of the complexity with the machine and the software. I am getting to witness that first hand again...

I have purchased the following;

• Amiga Forever (Plus Edition) from Cloanto
• AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition (AmigaOne 500 / Sam 460)
• FlowerPot

Is the AmigaOS 4.1 CD that I have the correct software? I know the AmigaOne 500 is a remake of the original A500.

Where do you find the ClassicInstallCD-53.71 image?

The FlowerPot software is looking for the ClassicInstallCD-53.71 file and I have closely examined all of the storage locations on my hard drive and Compact Disc. I don't see any file with this name or portion of this name. I have all of my WinUAE files in the default location - C:\Program Files\WinUAE.

The amiga-os-310-a4000.rom, ralphschmidt-cyberstorm-ppc-4471.rom and rom.key files are all available. I am only missing the ClassicInstallCD-53.71 (it shows that this is a Disc Image File - like a ISO/BIN/NRG file)

I have the WinUAE software working without issue on Workbench 3.1. I am just looking to add functionality and take advantage of available resources.

you purchased the wrong Amiga OS CD , you should have Purchased the Classic Version for the A4000 with PPC Accelerator. The AmigaOne is not a remake of the A500, its just a Lesser AmigaOne system.

The AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition is downloadable through the Hyperion website.

AmigaOS 4.1 FE comes in various model-specific versions. The version for AmigaOne500 / Sam460 does not work on classic Amiga models.

Once you registered your serial number, the ClassicInstallCD file will appear in the download section.
