RIVA settings for vampirized A500

Hi,
i'm running an A500 with a V2 Vampire board with the latest coffinOS. If i use Riva 0.53 to play the music videos included with coffin, the following settings work pretty good: Dither (Hicolor), NoSkip (off), Audio(enabled), audio quality (2) and audio frequency (2). With audio frequency (1) its no usable ad video and audio are slow.

If i download a movie trailer at 480p resolution(mkv) and convert it to mpg-1, i get a video thats not watchable on the amiga, with stops/freezes every 10 seconds.. It works perfect on the mac.

Any ideas? Is there a better video software for a vampirized amiga?

Hola Rodrigo:

RiVA es lo más optimizado en Amiga que hay para ver videos mpg-1.

La otra opción es utilizar el reproductor de videos que hace uso del modo HAM. Ese es más rápido aún, pero requiere un formato específico, no estándar, que hay que crear a partir un de un programa que corre en Windows exclusivamente.

PD: Cuídate de las manifestaciones pacíficas que están recrudeciendo ahora mismo.
