Lightwave 5.0r popup menu issues

I'm having issues with Lightwave 5.0r which I picked up here. It runs fine, but when using the popupmenus in Lightwave, the menu briefly pops up but I'm unable to pick one of the menu items. I'm unable to load a file or pick any other items in popup menus. The other buttons work fine.

Hardware: 4000D with A3660 and full rev 4 68060, KS 3.2.2.1 and WB 3.2.2.1, Mediator DI with Radeon PCI, SpiderUSB and Sound Blaster 128. Total ram is 16Mb and 100Mb from the Radeon.

Other applications run fine.

I tried running LW in PAL Highres and RTG. In PAL highres the menu pops up a little longer but I'm unable to select a menu item, in RTG the menu flashes briefly.

Not sure if I understand your issue, but... in LW 5.0, you must keep the left mouse button pressed for the menu to stay open.

I know. When I press and hold the left mouse button over a menu item, the menu disappears again without selecting a menu item. Leaving me unable to open a file or quit Lightwave.

Just a little update: the issue was caused by the cocolino driver. Removing it solved the issue.
