Just a word of warning guys - you need to enter something at the copy protection screen. If you enter absolutely nothing then you won't be able to play beyond the first world (at least on the floppy version).

Oh and one more thing - you can go back and play levels you have already completed; obviously this isn't permitted for the purposes of this competition as it will be pretty blatant score leeching so please never go back to a level when you have completed it.

I spent hours playing this through to the end. And like a chump, assumed that the WHDLoad slave would save my score. Damn, oh well.

I had a glitch after 3 lands, I could not continue.
The road was still grayed out. I had to press escape to get a score... I'll tried the WHDLoad version.. 141,095 Last edited by rexsu; 05 November 2010 at 18:14. |

After playing 4 hours, I reached only 40% of this game and I didn't have more free time so I closed WinUAE

Yeah, terrible game for the league. Giana Sisters would've been so much better suited.

I had twenty lives when I stopped
This game is for play in small sessions. That's why after each land, we obtain a password. Maybe we should change the rules for this kind of game ! For example, permitting the use one password / save state ? |

I started yesterday and I ended this morning at 8:23...
I played over 10 hours I could expect a great end after this long journey and no, just a scroll-text I remade 2 times a level (Come Fly with Me) in a land because I didn't manage to get enough eyes... And since I don't like leeching, I noted my score before restarting. 608,640 - 568,395 = 40,245 points to remove on my score. So my final score will be 937,455 - 40,245 = 897,210 . Good day everyone, I'm going to bed |

Well that's pretty astonishing. Incredible dedication shown there.
This is very unusual though in that you're not submitting the actual score on your screenshot but sportingly taking points off because of some totally unintentional leeching. I don't think this has happened before, ever, and I'm not quite sure how the rules cover this. Should be fine though... |

I reached the forest area where the surroundings are a bit dark and keys fit to the mushrooms door. |

Gods + Globdule was a terrible combination ! Quote:
A new rule for avoid the leeching score with this kind of games could be an option in the future ? Otherwise I took a funny capture in the last land, look at this little tribute : |

You're right - it's possibly the worst combination of games we could have possibly had! I think as individual rounds it would have been okay but together it's been murder and to be honest I've found it hard to muster much enthusiasm for them (and before a bright spark pipes up, I know I voted for Globdule but I think I enjoyed it more when I was younger and I didn't realise it was quite as big as that - wish I voted for Gem'X more prominently...).
And the whole scoring thing is a bit of a one off for this round I think - it'll never happen again I'd imagine |

And that round's all over - congrats to rexsu who unsurprisingly officially wraps up the title once more.
