Anyone up for some Pinball!
capehorn - I put in a special rule about looping the score. If anyone loops the game and provides a video, I'll be relying on you to tell us the score. Otherwise it's 9,999 etc |

I Completed It
Ignition: 10,088,278 Steel Wheel: 39,261,725 Beat Box: 59,313,000 Nightmare: 105,052,160 My best scores today, after a few hours. Should definitely get better result of Steel Wheel. I have always disliked Ignition-table, so that I probably wont try again. Just read special rules and tried to submit scores that way... |

If a player feels that they are getting close to looping the score but cannot provide a video, then I would ask for three screenshots - one before the score loops, a screenshot of the bonus before it's added, and one of the score after the bonus has been added. Please see this post for a fuller explanation if you think you might attempt this - please be aware that the bonus can also loop which would require separate evidence (nb: this is very difficult to do so will only apply to players who specifically attempt to do it!) I'm not that familiar with the new auto-score-update feature and I suspect it only applies to Lemon Amiga. I'm not a competition mod, but I have been given access to update the scoreboard manually. Neither of the above scores were added automatically so I've done them myself. It's the first time I've done this so I hope I've done it right!

Yeah, the auto score update thing is mainly for the Lemon web site I think for this round, although it's worth following the same format in case it does go live at any point. Also added the leaderboard, good spot. |

I had no idea you could complete any of these tables, I thought it was a case of the thing goes forever like an Atari 2600 game such as Defender.

In the comp we give out completion stars for people who reach certain targets. On this game all you need for a completion star is to beat all the default high scores, which isn't too difficult.
Scores updated. |

That's right, just beat the high scores to get the star. It's something Biscuit introduced when he took over the compo a few years ago, and I think it adds some extra impetus for people who want to challenge themselves. This sounds easy, but ignition is a b***d to get the 5M sometimes; and I still haven't done it.

Does anyone know if the Hold Bonus and multiplier thing also affects Steel Wheel? I normally aim for the spinner, but is it worth going for HB and DB?

Probably the longest and most ridiculous game I've ever had. I got the bonus to 1bn, then lost it. Then got it up to 150m, but I'd been playing for about an hour and had to pause it to do some things. Then when I came back I was out of the zone and predictable immediately lost the bonus. Then with several extra balls racked up, I had a several more false dawns before the game finally ended after what felt like 2 hours or so!
