Bonecruncher & ECO
Does anybody have the games Bonecruncher and ECO, but the original ones ???
I´ve Bonecruncher, but it only works under Kick 1.2 (i think somebody rip it under Action Replay ). I´ve both games (single files), in one of my compilation games disk that i made in the 90´s to work with A1200, but the 1st one i didnt fix. If u dont know what games i´m talking about, i´ll upload them to the Zone. |

Those are quite obscure originals to find. Sometimes I get really busy (like this week, for example) and fall behind, but I try to typically look at everything on ebay that is Amiga-related - namely looking for old, obscure games (originals, natch!). Last week, I picked up Kid Gloves, Cosmic Relief, Spaceport, Stryx, Star Goose, Eye of Horus, Fire, and Raider (the last two being the pearls in the oyster). I don't recall ever once seeing either Eco or Bonecruncher on there...well, maybe Bonecruncher, but definitely never Eco.
The games I see originals of the most were those old games that typically only exist in butchered single-parted versions on compacts from pre-1990. I feel these are the ones that should be sent to the WHD fixers the most, since the cracks have been stripped of intros, credits, etc., plus they are the least compatible files, either due to being created so early in the Amiga's conception, or due to crap address-crunchers used on them. So anybody that has any resources for finding originals of this type of old Amiga game, please post your info here so that these can be restored and preserved. |

For those who dont know the ECO game, u can donwload it here:
ECO (its DV Game pack 16, with: Blacklamp, ECO, Elevator Action, Fred Flinston (german version)) I made several compilations games that i fixed to work with A1200, most of them are re-crunched by myself, because the original cruched file it was a piece of crap (some o theme were 2x times crunched and/or with encrypted stuff), and also on some of theme i have to rip off the intro(cracktro), to make them run. Well I was the one to send the configuration info to BTTR about 4 years ago because I figured out the above! So if anyone has any version of Bone Cruncher different from the common one (CRC: 4bd69858), please post it! Thanks... |

The question still stays:
Does anyone have a version of Bone Cruncher NOT cracked by Computerbrains? I believe it does exist. Please go checking your non-TOSEC directories or archives. Carlos is right: the necessity of Kickstart 1.2 is caused by the fact that an old version of AR was used for freezing Bone Cruncher ... |
