Program Rescue and History Project

Was wondering if there are any projects going on collecting source code from old Amiga (pre AGA...) programs, demos, cracktros, and games...Personally I think it would be nice to preserve them as a piece of history and allow others to see how programming was done...Would imagine that most programmers wouldn't mind (if they still have the sources) since nobody is making any money with those programs anymore (maybe some exceptions..?)

What kinda source. I've got some aga fixed stuff that works on both aga and preAGA, but most of the stuff I have is found on aminet, like that asm_course.lzx and stuff.

I am talking about commercial games and programs as well as semi-professional cracktros/demos release before 1992 or so (not exactly sure when the AGA chipset was introduced)...Especially interesting would be the source code of the operating system, Workbench, and basically any software (except for the tons of PD released on Fish Disks..etc since most of them came with source code also)...

Whoever has, simply can't for various reasons - sorry.

there is source to some amiga game. Found that site because I saw "escape from new york.sid" and want to play the game.

hope that gives you a basic engine to play around with =]
