Two interesting Games for a WHDLoad Patch
Hello,
I have two interesting titles here; it is an action adventure game by Titus and a text adventure by Infocom. The both games work only on an A500 or an on A600 whitout problems. Therefore, it would be fantastic if someone could make an installer for these games. Thanks in Advance! P.S: I've uploaded the disks images (as DIC) of my original versions and a few icons in the zone. |

I think a patch for the Lost Treasures of Infocom would be nice. Mad-Matt made an unoffical patch some years ago iirc.

I'll see about creating patches for these games if no one else does it before me.

It sure is, it gave me a few minutes of extra fun as I couldn't resist to disassemble the virus code too. Don't worry though, it's a very harmless virus which doesn't destroy anything. |

ahah XD ! I have looked at the protected track on this game (i own it in original too), and oh funny, on each sectors you have the dutch word "flickers" which means "faggots" in english or "pédés" in french, my god, it reminds me of many souvenirs with dutchs friends when i was younger, ahhhh..... time flies :S

Hmmm... if people are still looking for DOS based games to WHD patch i know of a few which i never had any luck with (and Sting / Abandon / others will probably have far more luck on!)....
Big Business: http://hol.abime.net/105 And a couple of nice cover-disk found PD games, which have some graphics errors on enhanced machines iirc.... Grey Slayer: http://hol.abime.net/4869 Mister And Missis: http://hol.abime.net/5393 Just a thought, if either of you are still on the lookout! |

Sweet! The game is a bit like playing a spreadsheet with graphics (then again, Surpemacy is quite like that too!) but has a certain 'charm' to it nonetheless...

I remember that game fondly, played it with a friend of mine back in 1991. Quite a funny game actually. I had a look at patching it for WHDLoad this evening, since I couldn't find my old patch code I just restarted from scratch and it seems to work fine. Might very well be possible that the patch will be released in the next days.

For Infocom games, probably the best way to play them is with a third-party interpreter, rather than the original interpreter and WHDLoad. The third-party interpreters are system-friendly, can open on Workbench or a custom screen, use proportional fonts, etc. etc. For example there are:Frotz is the most recent.

Hi all, I'm new to this forum. I am a text adventures lover (I bought masterpieces of infocom for PC many years ago). I saw that the lost treasures of infocom was uploaded to the zone a couple of months ago, but I couldnt find it anymore there. Could somebody please re-upload it? Thanks a lot
