CV64 problem

I have bought CV64 on Amibay. Because my SCSI does not work yet I had to install a new copy of system. Installed 3.9, PPC patch and CyberGraphX v4. I installed CV64 in a slot and have message on boot: Cybervision64 Driver Request: Please select default video mode with options: VGA,NTSC,PAL,cancel . Whatever I will choose the system hangs and I have to reboot it again ... . System boots fine without CV64. Setup is A4000D, CS PPC/060 . Please help .

Picasso 2+ works perfect

Maybe someone can advise how to install everything from beginning. I can install workbench again 3.1 , 3.5 or 3.9 , what patches etc..

I have installed again 3.9 and P96 2.1 drivers - blank screen

Fresh install of 3.1 and P96 and have message: Picasso96:could not create graphics board context for cybervision, check your picasso96 installation. and hangs ... and I changed CPU to 040, no change

SO I have managed to get it going but it is still not perfect. I have notice that S3trio IC was badly reworked and it looked suspicious. Checked under microscope and found that many pins on S3 Trio are just seating on the pads not soldered. Not a big problem - IC re-flowed and hej card is finally recognized and works.

Next problem, when I use 1024/768 in 24bit mode the screen is corrupted like two screens moved - looks like additional memory problem. The sockets are stretched and I think there is bad connection so next step have to be get rid of sockets but currently my wife is very close to get rid of all Amigas and me on top. I hate to admit, I slowly regret that I started to built this A4000 .

I have installed 3.9again and it works, yet another problem: I can run programs from cli, amidock and they work fine but when I only click on workbench icon the system hangs and restarts, top menu works good. Any ideas?
