Awaiting some replacement cables for my x-arcade solo, replaced the stick and buttons so feels great. Yes, it does look ... bulky!
For oldschool I used to love using the old atari cx sticks, though cannot really say its aged that well since I now find it uncomfy to use. Really dont like my comp pro either, feels too stiff. So for 15 quid have secured a good condition zipstick from fleabay, had one before and recall breaking it, so must have gotten plenty of use! |

It's all about the stick travel. I wish more joystick manufacturers realized this; all you need is 4 microswitches and a correctly placed shaft. Instead of fixing that we try different things with springs, frames, arms and weird non microswitched stuff when it's really not necessary.
The buttons part of it is super easy and all types work fine. |
