I remember someone placing one in Pi-top - and it works.

Couple of issues, including price if you ask me... Not worth it.

I dunno if it has been mentioned here but…

My “Amiga” laptop is an iBook G4 running MorphOS (which is mostly AROS code as I understand it). I have the 1.42GHz iBook G4 w/ 1.5GB of RAM. I upgraded the hard drive to 128GB mSATA in an IDE hard disk form factor case… this thing here:

CY mSATA Mini PCI-E SATA SSD to 2.5 inch IDE 44pin Hard Disk Case Enclosure White for Notebook Laptop

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01GRMUQ...ing=UTF8&psc=1

I actually have 2 of these iBooks. One I bought for €75 and one I bought for €30. They’re usually scratched up but if you buy some Meguiar's Plast-RX you can buff out those scratches. Warning: the iBook G4 is challenging to “tear down” in order to swap the hard drive.

Lastly, MorphOS is free to try for 30 minutes, after that it lows your computer down and you have to reboot. A license is €79. That irks some people as the majority of MorphOS is AROS code, and AROS is a free open source project.

I do not know of a way to run AROS on PowerPC Macs without using MorphOS.

There's also AspireOS:

It's called AspireOS as it was made to run on an ACER Aspire One A110, A150 and ZG5 netbooks.

You can get one of the above models pretty cheaply.
