Per-panel configs

How about being able to save one or a group of settings instead of every setting from Hardware or Host? say I'd like to save my Display settings, my Input settings or perhaps both, but I don't need the rest; wouldn't that come in handy?

Options move between panels, new panel(s) may be implemented in future etc..
