Metal Mutant
Hello my friends...
So, I've trying to play Metal Mutants for quite sometime. I'm using WinUae to do so (FS-UAE seems to dislike Metal Mutants, don't know why)... I manage to play for a couple of sceneries, until I reach the small craft, where the cyborg opens it's head to recharge... then I get an error, stating that the disk is protected, and in order to continue play, I must unprotect him...Can anyone help me out, please? Thak all in advance |

you need to deprotect the ADF of the game, because the game need to write on it.

First of all, thank you for your quick response... in order to do so, should I normally right click on it, and tick the write protection off, or should I do any other way?
Thank you very much |

I've just contacted Lam and he says "Yeah, just untick the 'Write-protected' option"!

Once you untick 'Write-protected', if it's an ADF then WinUAE will write directly to the ADF file, if it's an IPF/CT RAW then WinUAE will create an ADF to hold all the writes as IPF files are 'read only'.
