Astro Marine Corps unsupported version!
Either my disks are bad or unsupported! CT Raw dump loads and plays the first level off disk 1 in WinUAE.
Using v1.2 by StingRay, when inserting Disk 1, DIC quits when reading Track 124 as it says 'no sector header' and quits! On disk 1 there is DOS tracks up to 61.1 (123) the rest appear unformatted in HxC Track Analyser and I think protection on track 79.0 (158). Disk 2 has DOS tracks up to 64.1 (129) and the rest appear unformatted and probably protection on track 79.0 (158) So is this an usupported version? Ping StingRay, or should that be PingRay CT Raw dumps in the Zone! |

AMC is seen as not duplicated (like most spanish games, and not only on Amiga.... same on CPC and Atari ST....) Basically your description is good. The protection track is in track 79 side 0, and is made of a lot of sectors 9x512+4x1024+59 small sectors following. The protection is an Atari ST/PC track format. And it's not supported.... However, you should be able to use DIC, in order to make ADF of your disks. AMC exists in just 1 revision on Amiga. |

You mean the protection track is not supported by SPS yet?
Hmmm... If there is only one revision, then it should be supported in WHDLoad? |

Already opened a case, just didn't realise when submitting it the script was reading 2 tracks too far and thus failing, i'll have to amend that! I can make ADF's with dtc though.
EDIT: You can also edit the install and change this line: (set #CI_disklen 709632) to (set #CI_disklen 693760) This copies 1355 blocks off disk 1, the remaining sectors in the last block were just filled with (W)XCOPY so didn't copy those! Last edited by BarryB; 04 January 2017 at 22:46. |
