Going to HK and China tomorrow.....

Any Amiga related goodies I should be thinking of bringing back for myself or to sell?

I was thinking of bringing some spartans back if I can find some. The prices in China are extremely low. Retail DVDs are $2 and retail games are around $12.

Im going to look for a 8800GT but may also look for any Amiga related stuff people may want here.

Any ideas? Anyone want anything?

Yeah but I can spot fake DVDs and games a mile off. They would have to be trying very hard to be able to sell me a fake 8800GT.

All Jackie Chan movies up to about 1982 would be very nice

) Preferably the zany English dubbed versions rather than Cantonese dubbed

You see Zetr0 and all. I heard that there is a severe shortage of Spartan 3's for minimig builders and that they cost a lot.

However I will only be going to usual retail shops and markets and spartan 3's are a bit specialist.

I will have a look though.

In HK everything is the same price as the UK really. Wiis are around 125 quid, DVDs are around 7 quid etc.

I am going across to China though, to Guangzhou where everything is extremely cheap

oh i am living now in Guangzhou (china), and for the computer stuff, it's not that cheap. Actually, it can even be more expensive than in europe, for famous brand, especially for the laptops.

So my boring advice is : for big brand computers or other electronic stuff : buy in HK. It's cheaper, safer (less fake, better warranty). I bought my laptop there.

For chinese brand (meizu mp3 player and other weird names), its cheaper in china.
For memory, HD, it's pretty cheap too, but u can't never be sure it's not a fake or something else. I bought a 2gb usb key recently (for 10euro), i had to go back 2 times to change it.

For game console stuff, i have no idea, never tried to buy one, but it seems they are all (or almost all) hacked to read all the games.

Anyway. have fun, the computer center is huge and it's always fun to go there
