Keyboards
Hi! I was wondering what are the alternatives to using an external keyboard for the A500? Can I use a clockport adapter with a USB board for a USB keyboard? I was thinking of changing this A500 into a tower to gain a little more real-estate on my desk by towering it with the accelerator and HD and all inside the box. I'd like to start on an A1200 ntsc model if I can find one at a reasonable price--so far no luck at even finding one.

USB keyboards will only work once your OS has loaded.
Changing an A1200 from PAL to NTSC is basically one crystal swap and a tying a few pins to a certain logical state away if you don't care about getting an NTSC antenna signal out of the machine.. |

That's interesting. The keyboard info makes sense. I was reading about the A120 ntsc mod and I noticed some contradicting info so I thought I should ask. I noticed that some had problems with some software and other had problem with accelerators and what ever. Maybe I'll pick one up when ever the overdue stock arrives. I'm up to modding the the a1200 as soldering is nothing new
