Check this out! (Ebay arghh)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Amiga-1200-Mic...QQcmdZViewItem

I happen to be interested in buying this case...so I checked daily on its progress. Something jumped out at me from the bidders list yesterday so I dug alittle deeper. The bidder fabian7070 had bid a few times on it. To me it appeared to look like this person was upbidding. So I checked on the other items fabian7070 had been bidding on and low and behold look what I found...

http://cgi6.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....rows=25&sort=3

Yeah werid? this person has only bid on the sellers listings - check the other completed listings this person has bid on and you will find other low bidding Poles.

Im on the wall for this one Bippym......

It's shame due German privacy laws, you can't find out what the German ebay bidders/sellers get upto....

(sorry!)

Well, nothing to do with the above, but I would recommend you to not buy that tower anyway. It is the worst Amiga tower I have ever dealt with, and I have binned two of these towers already because of the low quality. It is simply to unstable and not a well thought solution.

Better get yourself a PowerTower, DBox, Eyetech Z4 or MicroniK Infinitiv MK2 tower (however the last one isn't suitable for a Mediator).

Upbidding is against ebay rules. I would report him but I don't want to spend 1/2 going round the ebay website finding out how. I hate people that upbid, especially when you sell something and it goes for a really low price, you then see the same product go for 4 times as much.

I know how you feel...to be honest I don't believe Ebay do actually care if people are breaking the rules. Last month a German seller wanted to charge me for using Paypal. I just couldn't be a*sed reporting him.

Yeah ok Paypal does suck (I know I've taken payments with it). But it's either send money via reg post or bank transfer.....the later is expensive and the money via reg post also has it pitfalls...

Upping your own bid is called 'Shilling'.
No need to search the ebay rules and regs, just post the same facts as you did here on the ebay forum 'discussion and answers' (something like that) and the active members will do their upmost to get the auction banned and possibly the seller struck off!
Fair's fair.. live by the sword and all that malarkey.

LOL - Noooooooo
It's your beef, not mine.
But be careful because they will look at everything you've bought/sold recently and publish the facts on the forum (should you have purchased something dodgy!)

I wouldn't buy anything of him. He is another matinflash .
He buys it cheap on Alegro and sells it on eBay. So, I think fabian7070 ,as he is from Poland as well and can get it much cheaper at Alegro, is definitely shilling. I would stay away from this auction and report him to eBay.

....Funny you should bring up martinflash...I've not the seen the belgium-bun eater lately either...

**Newsflash**
I sent a bidder an email about my concerns a couple of days ago. Basically what I said in this post. The bidder has now retracted his bid....small justice?
