4.9.1 screen positioning problem resurfaces

The same problem as described in the 4.9.1 beta thread, e.g. my doublepal workbench looks wrong again http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...8&postcount=19.
It's not exactly the same offset as before, looks like 16 hires pixels shorter. E.g. screen title "ga Workbench..." is now (A half-visible)"miga Workbench...". VGAOnly+DblPAL causes larger shift.
Code changes got lost during merge or something new?

Which 4.9.1 beta introduced it?

Fix was not lost but the problem most likely is WB programmed modes and "custom" programmed modes that need different handling. (Just like real old SVGA monitor can't have multiple different modes centered automatically without manual controls and per-mode memory). Most "sane" modes can be auto-centered by checking hsync and hblank positions but there are always exceptions where automatic mode can't work.

Perhaps this needs option, default is automatic positioning (like previously) and non-auto option for rare special cases.

Uhmm, haven't touched last few betas. OK, let me check...
b4/5/6/7: ok
b8 (29.1.2022): not ok
b9 (1.2.2022): not ok
official 4.9.1: not ok

Config option sounds good.
