Don't know if this is really a bug or just how the game actually is.

Worked out that you definitely need OCS / 512MB Chip RAM plus Cycle Exact switched off (otherwise you get garbled graphics).

Thing is, the game starts and you are able to play but does pause sometimes for a second or longer. Anyone know a solution?

Of course I'm using the latest beta version test.

I really hate using such an old version as reference but these occasional slowdowns didn't occur with my configs / v1.0.0.

...can't post logs from latest beta as my Internet is down and currently using my mobile.

Please use WHDLoad version.

As far as I remember this bug with pause sometimes occurs when you trying to jump. First time when I play then I thought that is a game feature but it is a programmer mistake(s). IMO this game works accidentally.

By the way I like arcade Elevator Action and shame that there is no perfect conversion of this game on Amiga.

Unfortunately I'm a bit old school when it comes to Amiga and don't use WHDLoad.

So you're saying no solution to this? It definitely works without issue on my old Windows XP laptop / WinUAE v1.0.0...

Me too; love the arcade version (and the sequel is ok too)

Thanks s235; I'll try to track down this and test tonight.

Also came across these 2 old threads; seems I need to try using Kickstart 1.2 (as well as what I've mentioned in my first post):
