Hardest Fantasy Strategy Game Poll EVER!!!

Okay, After being on EAB for a lil while now, I feel it is my duty to find the HAREST poll for people to take part in.

So why is this the Hardest? well because each of these semi and actual RTS stratagey games really made it for me on the amiga.

so what will it be my dear Amigans,

1.
Populous ? proving the god gamer that you are.(and had manners

2.
Realms ? There can only be ONE! (damn that should be multiplayer)

3.
Megalomainia ? which is egonmically terrific

4.
Dune 2 ? the great grand - daddy of RTS

Primary goal of this poll is to cause needless pain, choose wisely fellow amigan.

Anyway, after one minute of mental torture it was nearly(!)
clear, Megalomania.

I went for Populous as I was only 14 when i first played that (it was also one of the very first amiga games I played). Megalomania came later when I was around 16 or 17 so had matured and learnt how to use a mouse properly

Dune 2. You`ll really need a lot of save/reloads especially during the later levels. Without that its prolly impossible
1) Rocket approaching? Save.
2) Rocket hit your Buildings/wiped out most of your army? Reload and continue with 2.

Populous is second, I found Megalomania & Realms to be rather easy .

No pain at all, cause this is an easy choice. I never played Realms nor Megalomania, and while Populous was a good game, it didn't hit the right nerve in me. Which left me with plenty of time to play and enjoy the game that was, together with Lotus II, the reason I upgraded from C64 to Amiga as soon as I had some money.

Dune 2. No question.

(Would've been much harder to choose between Dune 2 and Death or Glory, by the way ;-))

Wow, with just 17 votes and 6 posts, i believe it prooves to hard for some lol.

To be honest i want to create another account just so i can vote again lol,

all these games are legends just choosing between the four is difficult.

Your poll quite shockingly did not include Total Chaos AGA which has adjustable difficulty level and therefore IS the hardest fantasy strategy amiga game of all time.

You can simply beef up the settings, it only takes a few secs, then the game is nearly impossible to win. But if persevere you may triumph in the end if you are an expert Wizard such as I.

Dune 2 is a fab game but it isn't even in the genre you stated which is Fantasy. Everyone and their dog Fido knows that Dune 2 is Sci-Fi. BTW I didn't think it was very hard at all except for the last mission. I mean I used to win some of the beginning and middle levels with nothing more than a Harvester; the AI was THAT dumm.

And Total Chaos was relased in 2004, i never new of its existence untill now lol....

you guys must REALLY suck at strategy games because
DUNE II is so damned EASY
even when you play the house Atredies, the only real difficult part is level nine.
And if you save before the "death hand" missile hits, you can just keep loading again until it misses everything.
Unless you forgot to plan your base because:
YOU SUCK AT STRATEGY, or something

The original populous is one of the hardest, and therefore longest lasting games ever. I am still battling with it after what must be more than fifteen years!
