Prism2 - Wireless Manager non-responsive

Hi guys, I have got a Netgear MA401 pcmcia card (it is listed as compatible with Prism), and installed with Prism2 and Roadshow. Now I have done the typical install, setting up the SSID and password from the Prism installer and edited the Prism file for Roadshow. My router has been set up with a WEP password and it all seems to be working or at least the card seems to be talking to the Amiga. However when I try to run `WirelessManager prism2.device` in the shell it just hangs the shell, nothing comes up and no error is shown. The card was bought as new in an unopened box so I thinking maybe the card`s firmware needs to be updated or is that not necessary for this model?

I had to upgrade the firmware for my MA401 to get WPA2 working, but if you're using WEP I suppose it shouldn't be needed.

Would that cause the WirelessManager to freeze or not respond when called in the Shell?

I got lockups until I started using WEP.....just out of interest have you checked your 5v at the floppy connector? Just wondering if you move over a tipping point when you liven up the card - super unlikely I know.
