Arrow Zynaps

I am having trouble running Zynaps which I have downloaded from Back 2 the Roots.
In Winfellow the graphics are corrupt. With WinUAE the sound is also messed up.
Does anyone know the right configuration to run this game?

Got it fully working in winuae 0.8.8r9. Also worked with winuae 21r2 but the sound is choppy. It's strange that in some games the sound is great and in others it is choppy, it's properly my configuring - Ian's better at this than me.

Smile Thanks for the config

Thanks for providing your WinUAE configuration, Paul. I guess WinUAE 0.8.8r9 is the latest update of this emulator (November 2001).
I'll try the game out tonight. I am really curious how Zynaps will play on Amiga. It was one of my favourite shmups on the C64.

Yep, it is. Try to adjust the sound buffer slider to 3 (or maybe more on slower systems). Plays smoothly here.

Hooooo Feeling like a dying duck in a thunderstorm...

Well can anyone of you give me the slightest clue to get on in this game?

I've attached a screenshot with markings, I hope someone can explain what these represent.
LSD DOCS disk (lsd-sp02.zip) says that you're supposed to pick up FUEL here. But does (1) represent the fuel or is it somewhere else?
(4) is also a mystery. It changes all the time, but I cannot do anything with it. I can press fire for a longer time, it flashes - no effect. Hmmm ....

Cool Power-ups

Based on my experiences with Zynaps on C64 I guess these are power-ups that appear once you've shot a wave of enemies. These powerups (speed-up, double spread-shot et cetera) can be activated by pressing a key (I don't know which one) on your keyboard.
